Focus and Scope
Capillarity publishes high-quality original research articles and current reviews on fundamental scientific principles and innovations of capillarity in physics, chemistry, biology, environmental science and related emerging fields. All advances in theoretical, numerical and experimental approaches to capillarity in capillary tube and interface dominated structure and system area are welcome.
The following topics are within (but not limited to) the scope of capillarity:
i) Capillary-driven phenomenon in natural/artificial tubes, porous and nanoporous materials
ii) Fundamental mechanisms of capillarity aided by theory and experiments
iii) Spontaneous imbibition, adsorption, wicking and related applications of capillarity in hydrocarbon production, chemical process and biological sciences
iv) Static and dynamic interfacial processes, surfactants, wettability, film and colloids
v) New approaches and technologies on capillarity
Capillarity is a quarterly open access journal and free to read for all. The journal provides a communicate platform for researchers who are interested in all fields of capillary phenomenon.
All submitted manuscripts will be blind reviewed and the accepted papers will be published quarterly since 2018.

Peer Review Process
This journal follows a single blind peer review workflow using the online review system.
Once a manuscript is submitted, it will be checked by the journal’s editorial office to ensure the files are complete and that the relevant metadata are in order. Then, the Editor-in-Chief performs an initial assessment before inviting a number of potential reviewers to provide a peer-review report. Editor-in-Chief is entitled to reject a manuscript which is deemed to be unsuitable before reviewing. After that, the manuscript is assigned to at least two independent expert reviewers on the basis of their subject expertise. In the full peer review process, the identities of reviewers are keeping anonymous to the authors.
Under the guidance of the reviewers’ decisions, Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of articles.

Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
For this open access journal, all published articles are made immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download under an open access license. Permitted third party (re)use is defined by the following Creative Commons user licenses (CC BY-NC-ND). Under this license, everyone has free and unlimited access to the full-text of the published articles, and is free to re-use the published material under these terms: by giving credit to the author, providing the citation of the original publication, not using for commercial purposes and not distributing the article if you have modified it.
Archiving
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
Publication Ethics Statement
Capillarity is committed to obey the code of ethics at all stages of the publication process.
We follow the Guidelines on Good Publication Practice provided by Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), an organisation that provides advice and resources on all aspects of publication ethics and research and publication misconduct.
The journal enforces a rigorous and anonymous review process together with strict ethical policies and standards to ensure high quality scientific papers to publish. Cases of plagiarism, data falsification, image manipulation, inappropriate authorship credit is a zero tolerance policy for Capillarity.
The following guidelines outline the publishing ethics responsibilities of Capillarity, and the authors, peer reviewers and editors. The papers submitted to Capillarity must abide following aspects:
(1) Simultaneous submission of the same manuscript to more than one journal is not tolerated.
(2) A submission translated from already published paper in other language is not clearly allowed and accepted.
(3) Any possible conflict of interest of the author(s) must be clearly disclosed before submission.
(4) Data and methods in your paper should be presented at full length, which can be replicated by other researchers.
(5) The authors need publicly deposit their raw data, so that they are readily available for presentation to the referees and the editors, if requested.
(6) Paper should accurately present their research findings.
(7) If some inaccuracies are found after publication, the authors need promptly contact with the journal for necessary corrigendum.
(8) Submitted manuscript to this journal need not contain any aspects that has already been published, including figures and images. If yes, the necessary permission from the copyright holder to publish under the CC BY-NC-ND license should be obtained.
(9) Image manipulation Plagiarism and data fabrication are not tolerated.
(10) Image must not be manipulated or adjusted that could lead to misunderstand of the information provided by the original image.
(11) If irregular image manipulation is identified and confirmed during the peer review process, we will reject the manuscript. If irregular image manipulation is identified and confirmed after publication, we may correct or retract the paper.

Our office editors will investigate any allegations of publication misconduct and may contact the authors' institutions or funders if necessary. If evidence of misconduct is found, appropriate action will be taken to correct or retract the publication. Authors are expected to comply with the best ethical publication practices when publishing with Yandy Scientific Press.
