Call for Paper: Advances in Well Logging and Mud Logging Technologies and Their Applications (WLML)

Well logging and mud logging which can help characterize the petrophysical properties of the formations thousands of meters underground, are called the eyes of geologists. Driven by the need of unconventional petroleum exploration and production, today's well logging and mud logging technologies have been developing rapidly.

This special issue invites original research articles as well as comprehensive review articles addressing new developments in well logging and mud logging and their applications. Potential topics of this special issue mainly include, but are not limited to:

  • New logging tools and methods
  • Rock physics, digital rocks and numerical simulations
  • Production logging
  • Logging while drilling and geosteering
  • AI+ well logging and mud logging interpretation
  • Unconventional reservoir evaluation
